New healing area "Komorebi no Mori NASU" is born [Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa]

Resort hotel Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa (Location: 4449 Takakuhei, Nasu-machi, Nasu-gun, Tochigi Prefecture / General Manager: Richard Tintun), located in a place overlooking the magnificent view of the Nasu Mountains and the Nasu Kogen spreading at its base, has developed a lawn area on the hotel premises and newly opened as a recreation field for families, NASU. The new area is divided into three areas: "Active Area", "Picnic Area", and "Star Gazing Area", and you can enjoy a variety of content day and night.

In addition, from July 19 (Sat) to August 31 (Sun), the popular outdoor pool will also be open. There is also a kitchen car where you can enjoy authentic gourmet food during the pool business period. The summer of Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa's unique experience is waiting for you to play, taste and heal in nature.

Family summer experience to enjoy in the three newly introduced areas

Active area

The active area where you can enjoy sports and outdoor play is perfect for kids who are full of energy. It is a recreation space where you can play with your body. The open location surrounded by nature is a safe lawn for running and falling, so parents can watch with peace of mind. There are also children's balls and badminton for rent.

　

Picnic area

The picnic area where you can relax is a relaxing space where the whole family can easily spend time. There is a garden table with a parasol, so you can enjoy the resort feeling while surrounded by the refreshing breeze of the plateau and the natural scenery without worrying about the sun. Foods and drinks can be brought freely, and picnic sheets can be rented out.

　

Stargazing area

A star-gazing area where you can see the full stars under the clear air of Nasu Kogen. Here, a transparent tent is permanently installed so that you can enjoy the starry sky observation even more. In addition to booths where you can freely enter and exit, we have a limited-time "Stargazing Special Plan" for those who want to spend a special time. With a special plate, ADULTS and children can enjoy drinks such as "Tochiaika Cider" and "Tochiotome Sparkling" using luxurious Tochigi strawberries, and seasonal fruits, cheese and nuts.

In addition, every Friday, a "starry sky observation party" is held with the staff. Use an astronomical telescope to observe constellations, the moon, and Saturn's rings. 　The popular outdoor pool is open only in summer. In addition, a BBQ kitchen car "EnKei Food & Wheelz" where you can enjoy freshly baked meat and vegetables while being wrapped in a fragrant aroma appears. Please enjoy an outdoor lunch that can only be tasted here, which will further enhance the resort feeling.

A pre-concert will be held in the lounge ahead of the Nasu Classic Music Festival, which is held every September in the Nasu area.
