Article 1 (Applicable Scope)

  1. Accommodation contracts concluded by the Hotel with Guests and related contracts shall be governed by the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by laws and regulations (in accordance with laws and regulations or laws and regulations). The same applies below. Or, it shall be based on customs that are generally accepted.
  2. If the Hotel complies with a special contract to the extent that it does not violate laws and regulations and customs, the special contract shall take precedence regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)

  1. If you wish to apply for an accommodation contract with the hotel, you must submit the following items to the hotel.

      (1)Name of guest
      (2)Accommodation date and scheduled arrival time
      (3)Accommodation fee
      (4)Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel

  2. If a guest wishes to continue staying beyond the date set forth in item 2 of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel will treat it as if it had applied for a new accommodation contract at the time of the offer.

Article 3 (Development of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)

  1. The accommodation contract shall be concluded when the Hotel accepts the application set forth in the preceding Article. However, this shall not apply if the hotel has proved that it has not accepted it.
  2. If an accommodation contract is concluded pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, you will be required to pay the application fee specified by the hotel up to the basic accommodation fee for the accommodation period (3 days if exceeding 3 days) by the date specified by the hotel.
  3. The application fee will be first allocated to the accommodation fee that the guest should finally pay, and if there is a situation where the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 are applied, the application fee will be applied in the order of compensation following the penalty. If there is a balance, it will be returned when the payment is made pursuant to Article 12.
  4. If the application fee set forth in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel pursuant to the provisions of the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall lose its effect. However, in specifying the payment date of the application fee, only if the hotel informs the guest of that effect.

Article 4 (Special agreement that does not require payment of the application fee)

  1. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, the Hotel may comply with a special agreement that does not require payment of the application fee set forth in that paragraph after the contract is concluded.
  2. If the hotel does not request payment of the application fee set forth in paragraph 2 of the preceding Article or does not specify the payment date for the application fee, it shall be treated as in accordance with the special agreement set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 4-2 (Request for cooperation in infection prevention measures at facilities)

    The hotel may ask any person who intends to stay for cooperation pursuant to the provisions of Article 4-2, Paragraph 1 of the Ryokan Business Act (Act No. 138 of 1948).

Article 5 (Reject to Conclusion of Accommodation Contracts)

  1. The hotel may not accept the conclusion of accommodation agreements in the following cases. Provided, however, that this section does not mean that the Hotel may refuse to stay in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Ryokan Business Act.

      (1)When the application for accommodation does not comply with these terms and conditions.
      (2)When there is no room available due to full room.
      (3)When it is deemed that the person who intends to stay may perform an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order or good customs regarding accommodation.
      (4)When the person who intends to stay is deemed to fall under the following a to c.
      B. Article 5-2 (Explanation of refusal to conclude accommodation contracts)

    Any person who intends to stay may ask the Hotel to explain the reason if the Hotel does not enter into an accommodation agreement pursuant to the preceding Article.

Article 6 (right to cancel the contract of the guest)

  1. Guests may request the hotel to cancel their accommodation contract.
  2. If the Hotel cancels all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to the guest (except when the Hotel designates the payment date of the application fee pursuant to the provisions of Article 3, paragraph 2 and requests the payment, and the guest cancels the accommodation contract before the payment), a penalty will be charged according to the provisions listed in Appendix 2. Provided, however, that if the Hotel complies with the special provisions set forth in Article 4, paragraph 1, the Hotel shall notify the guest of the obligation to pay the penalty when the guest cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the special agreement.
    If the hotel does not arrive at 8:00 p.m. on the day of the accommodation (if the estimated arrival time is indicated in advance, the time after 2 hours have passed) without contacting the guest, the accommodation contract may be deemed to have been canceled by the guest.

Article 7 (right to cancel the contract of the hotel)

  1. The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases. Provided, however, that this section does not mean that the Hotel may refuse to stay in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Ryokan Business Act.

      (1)When it is deemed that the guest may perform an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order or good customs regarding accommodation, or when it is deemed that he has done the same thing.
      (2)When the guest is deemed to fall under the following a to c.

Article 7-2 (Explanation of cancellation of accommodation contract)

Guests may ask the Hotel to explain why if the Hotel cancels the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding Article.

Article 8 (Registration of Accommodation)

  1. Guests are required to register the following items at the front desk of the hotel on the day of stay.

      (1)Name, address and contact information of the guest
      (2)For foreign nationals who do not have an address in Japan, nationality and passport number are required.
      (3)Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel

  2. If a guest decides to pay the fee under Article 12 in accordance with a method that can replace currency such as travel discounters, accommodation vouchers, credit cards, etc., they must be presented in advance at the time of registration set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 9 (Usage time of guest rooms)

  1. Guests can use the hotel's rooms from 15:00 to 11:00 the following day. However, if you stay continuously, you can use it all day except the arrival date and departure date.
  2. Irrespective of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may accept the use of rooms outside the hours specified in that paragraph. In this case, the following additional fees will be charged.

      (1)Up to 3 hours of excess time: 25% of the accommodation fee
      (2)Up to 6 hours of excess time: 50% of the accommodation fee
      (3)If the excess time exceeds 6 hours: The full amount of the accommodation fee
      (4)Guest rooms before 15:00: If you accept the full charge, you can use your room from 8:00 in the morning.

  3. For guests who are registered as members of the Hotel, the Member Program may be required to apply additional fees different from the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 10 (Compliance with Rules of Use)

Guests are required to comply with the rules set by the hotel and the rules in the hotel guide you in the hotel.

Article 11 (Business hours)

  1. Business hours of the main facilities of our hotel will be announced in the service directory in the hotel.
  2. The time set forth in the preceding paragraph may be changed temporarily if necessary. In such a case, we will inform you in an appropriate manner.

Article 12 (Payment of Fees)

  1. The breakdown of accommodation fees, etc. to be paid by guests and the calculation method for them are as listed in Appendix 1.
  2. Payment of accommodation fees, etc. in the section shall be paid to the hotel from the time the accommodation contract is concluded to the time of checkout, or when requested by the hotel, in accordance with the currency or the method that can be substituted such as travel credit cards, accommodation vouchers, credit cards, etc.
  3. If the hotel offers guest rooms and becomes available for use, then the guest does not stay voluntarily, the accommodation fee will be charged.

Article 13 (Responsibilities of the Hotel)

  1. The Hotel will compensate you for any damages in the event of any breach of the accommodation contract and any related contract or damage to the guest due to such breach. Provided, however, that this shall not apply if it is not due to reasons attributable to the Hotel.
  2. The hotel is included in Ryokan Liability Insurance to deal with all fires and other incidents.

Article 14 (Handling when contracted guest rooms cannot be provided)

  1. If the Hotel is unable to provide a guest room contracted to the guest, it shall, with the consent of the guest, travel other accommodations under the same conditions as possible.
  2. In the event that other accommodation facilities cannot be circulated regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel will pay compensation equivalent to the penalty to the guest and the compensation will be applied to the damages. However, compensation fees will not be paid if there is no reason attributable to the hotel for the inability to provide guest rooms.

Article 15 (Handling of Deposits, etc.)

  1. In the event of loss, damage, or other damage to goods or cash or valuables deposited by the guest at the front desk, the hotel will compensate for the damage unless it is force majeure. Provided, however, that the Hotel will not compensate for any cash or valuables beyond the liability of the Hotel even if the Guest does not do so, if the Hotel has requested a declaration of its type and price, and the Guest does not do so.
  2. In the event that a guest has brought into the hotel or any valuables that have not been deposited at the front desk, such as loss or damage caused by the intention or negligence of the hotel, the hotel will compensate for the damage. However, no compensation will be made beyond the scope of the hotel's liability unless the hotel has intentional negligence of Matashige, for which the type and price have not been announced in advance from the accommodation.

Article 16 (Storage of Guest Baggage or Portable Items)

  1. If the guest's baggage arrives at the hotel prior to the accommodation, we will keep it responsibly only when the hotel understands before the arrival and hand it over when the guest checks in at the front desk.
  2. If the guest's hand luggage or portable items have been left in the Hotel after the guest has checked out and the owner is identified, the Hotel shall contact the owner and ask for his / her indication. However, if there is no indication of the owner or if the owner is not known, keep it for 7 days, including the launch, and then deliver it to the nearest police station.
  3. In the case of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article, in the case of Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article, the Hotel shall be in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, in the case of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, in the case of Paragraph 2 of the same Article.

Article 17 (Responsibility for parking)

If guests use the hotel's parking area, the hotel will lend you a location and will not be responsible for the management of both cars, regardless of the deposit of the key on both cars. However, in the management of the parking lot, if any damage is caused by the intention or negligence of the hotel, it shall be liable for such damages.

Article 18 (Responsibilities of Guests)

If the hotel is damaged intentionally or negligently by the guest, the guest shall compensate the hotel for the damage.
