Article 1 (Applicable Scope)

  1. Accommodation contracts concluded by the Hotel with the Guest and related contracts shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions, and for matters not stipulated in these Terms, laws and regulations (refer to laws and regulations or laws).   2. If the Hotel enters into a special contract within a range that does not violate laws and regulations or customs, the special contract shall take precedence regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)

  1. A person who intends to apply for an accommodation contract with the hotel must submit the following items to the hotel:

      (1)Name of Guest
      (2)Date of accommodation and estimated arrival time
      (3)Accommodation fee
      (4)Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel

  2. If the Guest submits a request to continue their stay beyond the date set forth in item 2 of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall treat it as if the request has been made for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made.

Article 3 (Formation of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)

  1. Accommodation contract shall be established when the Hotel has accepted the application set forth in the preceding Article. However, this does not apply when we prove that the hotel did not approve.
  2. If the accommodation contract is concluded pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the application fee specified by the hotel shall be paid by the date specified by the hotel, up to the basic accommodation fee for the accommodation period (3 days if it exceeds 3 days).
  3. First of all, the application will be allocated to the accommodation fee that the guest should finally pay, and if the provisions of Articles 6 and 18 are applied, the application will be applied in the order of compensation following the penalty. If there is any remaining money, it will be refunded when paying the fee pursuant to Article 12.
  4. If the application fee set forth in paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel pursuant to the provisions of the same paragraph, the accommodation contract shall lose its utility. However, when specifying the payment date for the application fee, the hotel informs the guest of that fact.

Article 4 (Special agreement not to require payment of the application fee)

  1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, the Hotel may enter into a special agreement that does not require payment of the application fee set forth in the same paragraph after the conclusion of the contract.
  2. In accepting the application for the accommodation contract, if the Hotel does not request the payment of the application fee set forth in paragraph 2 of the preceding Article or does not specify the payment date of the application fee, it will be treated as in accordance with the special contract set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 4-2 (Request for cooperation in infection prevention measures at facilities)

    The hotel may request the person who intends to stay for cooperation pursuant to the provisions of Article 4-2, Paragraph 1 of the Ryokan Business Act (Act No. 138 of 1948).

Article 5 (Rejection of Accommodation Contract)

  1. The hotel may not accept the conclusion of an accommodation contract in the following cases: However, this clause does not imply that the Hotel may refuse accommodation in cases other than those listed in Article 5 of the Ryokan Business Act.

      (1)When the application for accommodation does not comply with these terms and conditions.
      (2)When there is no room due to full room.
      (3)When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay may perform an act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order or good manners and customs regarding accommodation.
      (4)When the person who intends to stay is deemed to fall under the following a to c.

Article 5-2 (Explanation of refusal to conclude an accommodation contract)

    The person who intends to stay may ask the Hotel to explain the reason if the Hotel does not accept the conclusion of the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding Article.

Article 6 (Right to cancel the contract of the Guest)

  1. Guests can offer to the hotel and cancel the accommodation contract.
  2. In the event that the Guest cancels all or part of the Accommodation Contract for reasons attributable to the guest (in accordance with the provisions of Article 3, paragraph 2, the Hotel specifies the payment date for the application and requests the payment, except when the Guest cancels the Accommodation Contract prior to the payment), a penalty shall be charged as set forth in Appendix 2. Provided, however, that if the Hotel complies with the special contract set forth in Article 4, Paragraph 1, the Hotel shall notify the Guest of the obligation to pay the penalty when the Guest cancels the accommodation contract.
    If the hotel does not arrive at 8:00 pm on the day of the accommodation without contacting the guest, if the expected arrival time is indicated in advance, the time after 2 hours have elapsed, the accommodation contract may be deemed to have been canceled by the guest.

Article 7 (Right to cancel the contract of the hotel)

      (6)When the guest repeats what is specified in Article 5-6 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Ryokan Business Act as a request that the burden associated with the implementation of the hotel is excessive and may significantly hinder the provision of accommodation-related services to other guests.
      (7)When the hotel is unable to accommodate guests due to natural disasters or other causes beyond its control.
      (8)Sleeping tobacco in the bedroom, mischief of fire-fighting equipment, etc., and other prohibitions of the usage rules set by the hotel (limited to those necessary for the prevention of fire disaster) When you don't follow it.

  2. If the hotel cancels the accommodation contract pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, it will not be charged any fees for accommodation services that the guest has not yet received.

Article 7-2 (Explanation of cancellation of accommodation contract)

The Guest may ask the Hotel to explain the reason for the cancellation of the Accommodation Agreement pursuant to the preceding Article.

Article 8 (Registration of Accommodation)

  1. Guests are required to register the following items at the front desk of the hotel on the day of stay.

      (1)Name, address and contact information of the guest
      (2)For foreign nationals who do not have an address in Japan, nationality and passport number
      (3)Other matters deemed necessary by the hotel

  2. If the Guest intends to pay the fee set forth in Article 12 by a method that can replace the currency such as travel cutter, accommodation ticket, credit card, etc., they must be presented in advance at the time of registration set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 9 (Use Time for Rooms)

  1. Guests can use the hotel room from 15:00 to 11:00 the following day. However, in the case of staying continuously, it can be used all day except the date of arrival and departure.
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may respond to the use of rooms outside the hours specified in the same paragraph. In this case, an additional fee will be charged.

      (2)Excess time Up to 6 hours: 50% of room charge
      (3)If the excess time exceeds 6 hours: Full amount of room charge
      (4)Guest rooms prior to 15:00: You can use the room from 8:00 a.m. if you pay the full amount of the room charge.

  3. Guests who are registered as members of the Hotel may be required to apply additional fees that are different from the provisions of the preceding paragraph in the Member Program.

Article 10 (Compliance with Rules of Use)

Guests are required to comply with the usage rules set by the hotel and the rules of the hotel in the hotel.

Article 11 (business hours)

  1. Business hours of the main facilities of the hotel will be announced in the service directory in the hotel.

Article 12 (Payment of Fees)

  1. The breakdown of accommodation fees, etc. to be paid by the guest and the calculation method are as listed in Appendix 1.
  2. Payment of accommodation fees, etc. in the section shall be made to the hotel from the time of establishment of the accommodation contract to the time of check-out, or at the time of the hotel's request, according to the currency or the method that can be substituted for travel cut-off, accommodation tickets, credit cards, etc. approved by the hotel.
  3. Even if the hotel provides guest rooms and becomes available for use, the accommodation fee will be charged even if the guest does not stay arbitrarily.

Article 13 (Responsibility of the Hotel)

  1. The hotel shall compensate for the damage if the accommodation contract and related contracts or damage the guest due to their defaults. However, this does not apply if it is not due to reasons attributable to the hotel.
  2. The hotel is covered by Ryokan Liability Insurance to deal with 1,000 fires, etc.

Article 14 (Handling when contracted rooms cannot be provided)

  1. If the hotel is unable to provide a guest room contracted to the guest, the hotel shall, with the consent of the guest, diversify other accommodation facilities under the same conditions as much as possible.
  2. Regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall pay the guest a compensation fee equivalent to the penalty, and the compensation fee shall be applied to the amount of compensation for damages. However, compensation fees will not be paid if there is no reason to be blamed by the hotel for the inability to provide rooms.

Article 15 (Handling of Deposits, etc.)

  1. In the event of damage such as loss or damage to goods, cash and valuables deposited by the guest at the front desk, the hotel will compensate for the damage unless it is force majeure. However, for cash and valuables, even if the Hotel requests a declaration of its type and value, and the Guest does not do so, compensation will not exceed the Hotel's liability.
  2. In the event that a guest brought into the hotel, such as loss or damage due to intentional or negligence of the hotel, the hotel shall compensate for the damage caused by the hotel, such as goods or cash or valuables that were not deposited at the front desk. However, we will not compensate for items that have not been declared in advance of the type and value from the accommodation beyond the hotel's liability, unless the hotel has intentional negligence of Matashige.

Article 16 (Storage of Baggage or Portable belongings of Guests)

  1. If the guest's luggage arrives at the hotel prior to the stay, it will be kept responsibly only when the hotel understands before arrival, and will be given to the guest when checking in at the front desk.
  2. If the Guest has checked out and the Guest's luggage or portable items have been left behind at the Hotel and the owner is known, the Hotel shall contact the owner and ask for their indications. However, if there is no indication of the owner or the owner is not known, it will be stored for 7 days, including the appearance, and then delivered to the nearest police station.
  3. In the case of Paragraph 1, the Hotel shall be liable for the storage of the guest's baggage or personal belongings in the case of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, in the case of Paragraph 1, in the case of Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, in the case of Paragraph 2 of the same Article.

Article 17 (Responsibility for Parking)

If the guest uses the parking area of the hotel, regardless of the deposit of the keys of the car, the hotel lends the location and does not assume responsibility for the management of both cars. However, in the management of the parking area, if damage is caused by intentional or negligence of the hotel, it shall be liable for compensation.

Article 18 (Responsibility of Guests)

In the event that the hotel suffers damage due to the intentional or negligence of the guest, the guest shall compensate the hotel for the damage.



Rules of Use

The hotel maintains the dignity of the hotel in accordance with Article 10 of the Accommodation Agreement.

If you do not cooperate with these rules, we may refuse the use of guest rooms and other facilities in the hotel according to Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Accommodation Agreement.

About valuables, custody items, and forgotten items

  1. Please manage cash and valuables by yourself. In the event of loss, theft, etc., the hotel assumes no responsibility.
  2. Your luggage can be checked at the self-bagge corner on the lobby floor.
    Please note that if you forget your PIN, you will be required to present your personal information to confirm your identity when handing over your luggage.
  3. Losts in the hotel will be kept by the hotel for a certain period of time, and will be handled in accordance with the Lost and Lost Law.
    However, food and drink and items that the hotel deems as waste will be disposed of on the same day.

About payment

  1. Please pay the usage fee at check-in. Please note that if you receive a billing statement from the front desk during your stay, please pay each time.
  2. Please note that in case of non-staying use, you may be charged a deposit upon arrival.
  3. We do not accept payment of shopping, ticket, taxi, postage stamp, luggage shipping, etc.
    If you receive payment from someone other than the guest, if you do not pay by the specified date, you will be required to pay directly to the guest.

Regarding the use of guest rooms

  1. All rooms are non-smoking. Please smoke at the designated smoking area.
  2. Please do not act in the room that could cause a fire.
    Also, do not use fire, candle, etc. for heating cooking, etc. without the permission of the hotel. Cooking in the guest room is strictly prohibited. (Excluding rooms with cooking facilities)
  3. Do not make loud noises, such as viewing loud noises of electronic devices, or other hustle and bustle in the guest rooms.
  4. The following items may be inconvenienced to other customers, so we will refuse to bring them in.

  11. Please do not use the room for any purpose other than accommodation.
  12. Do not use rooms or lobby as substitutes for offices or sales offices.
  13. Requests for various facilities and goods in the museum.

About the use of the public bath

Prohibited items

  2. To interfere with the work of hotel staff and enforce non-duties.

Disaster prevention, crime prevention, and security

  1. Please check the evacuation route map and the emergency exit on each floor when entering the room.

  3. If smoking is found outside of the designated smoking area, we will charge you compensation for cleaning costs such as bedding, curtains, carpets, etc., as well as repair costs.
  4. When you leave the room during your stay, be sure to bring your room card key and check the lock. We cannot keep the card key at the front desk.
    If the guest room card key is lost or damaged, procedures and costs associated with identity verification and reissuing the card key will be required.
  5. We will refuse accommodation only for minors without permission from parents (you will need to submit an "Accommodation Agreement" and contact the guardian for confirmation).
  6. In addition to room cleaning, if the hotel determines that it is necessary for safety management and facility maintenance, such as room maintenance, legal inspection, room inspection, emergency, etc., we may be forced to enter the room (even if the customer refuses to enter the room in advance). Thank you for your understanding.
  7. Do not enter facilities such as employee areas, emergency staircases, rooftops, machine rooms, etc. unless an emergency or unavoidable situation occurs.
  8. In the event of an emergency such as a fire, earthquake, power outage, etc., please follow the instructions provided by the nearest hotel staff and on-site broadcasts.
