Fukumitsu Mochitsuki Taiko Performance
"Mochitsuki taiko" is handed down to Fukumitsu and Nanto-shi. It is said that the local clan who joined the Genji army, who fought and won the Heike army at the Battle of Kurikara Pass about 800 years ago, celebrated the victory and made rice cakes. We make rice cakes while screaming flutes, shamisen and drums. If you wish, you can experience taiko and mochi making.
