~ You can taste pork spare ribs, beef burgers, and red eye to enjoy with tomato juice from Nichinancho ~

The resort hotel "Mercure Tottori Daisen Resort & Spa" located at the foot of Oyama (Location: 1647-13 Nakaso, Maruyama, Hoki-cho, Saihoki-gun, Tottori Prefecture / General Manager: Masaya Oshiro) will offer a new menu at the buffet restaurant from July 1 (Tuesday) to September 30, 2025. Nichinan Tomato is characterized by its original solid sweetness, sourness, and aroma by cultivation that takes advantage of the temperature difference between morning and evening in the rich nature of the semi-high-cooled area at an altitude of 400 to 600 meters. (*) Using Nichinan tomatoes and vegetables for spicy pork spare ribs, beef burgers, red eyes, etc., we developed a menu with the hope that children and ADULTS can fully enjoy the local ingredients.

■Introduction of the menu

 

1、Spicy pork spare ribs Semi-dry of Nichinan tomato and marinade of eggplant from prefecture
Softly stewed spare ribs are pickled overnight in a sauce mixed with Nichinan tomato puree and spices powder, sprinkle with coarsely ground black pepper and baked in the oven. As an addition, it is accompanied by semi-dry tomatoes condensed with the taste of Nichinan tomatoes and eggplant marinades that can feel the flavor of Shiso. It is a dish that enhances the rich taste of boned meat and the refreshing sourness and sweetness of Nichinan tomato.

2. Pickles of eggplants produced in the prefecture and beef burger of Nichinan tomato
A hamburger that combines pickles of eggplants from the prefecture in summer and fruity Nichinan tomatoes with beef patties. As a topping, we also have mayonnaise sauce using "Sundune Rakyo", which is known as a specialty of Tottori. Nichinan tomatoes serve as an accent, and the more you chew with a juicy patty, the more you taste.

3. Red eye made with tomato juice from Nichinan-cho
You can enjoy red eye, which divides beer with tomato juice, with tomato juice from Nichinan Town. Breaking it with tomato juice from Nichinan-cho, which has sweetness and depth, eases the bitterness of beer and makes it more fruity. The hotel also includes all-inclusive drinks from the buffet restaurant, so you can fully enjoy summer sake according to the dishes.
