Miyagi Zao, where the hotel is located, is blessed with well drained fertile soil and thaw water, and is one of Miyagi's leading pear production areas. This is an open-air bath in the hotel building that draws hot water from Toogattaonsen, a historical hot spring that has been opened for more than 400 years. You will feel the season as a "pear bath" with leaves floating. Pears are also sold at shops in the hotel.
