This summer, we will introduce new toys and activities to make it a more fulfilling all-inclusive stay.

Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa, a highland resort hotel overlooking Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mount Fuji (Location: Oizumi-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture / General Manager: Akira Uemura) has established four new activity rooms (*1) starting this summer and autumn season in addition to the popular all-weather activity facility "Mori no 8". All generations can enjoy table tennis and football soccer that can be played together with parents and children, wooden train toys for infants, and toys that emit sound, and anyone can use it free of charge. Based on the opinions of customers such as "I am happy to be able to enjoy it without worrying about the weather" and "It is difficult to visit various places when CHILDREN is small", we enhanced activities and play that can be enjoyed in the hotel. In addition, we would like you to touch the things of this area as much as possible, and this time we have been cooperating with the toy box icarus (Icarus), which runs a toy shop in Kobuchizawa Town, Yamanashi Prefecture, to install toys.

In the future, we plan to add new activities and continue to evolve into a hotel that can be played only in the hotel regardless of the weather in all seasons.

4 new activity rooms

1． Train Room (Hotel 3F)

The world of train toys spread around wooden rails. Under the theme of "Connect and expand, create a free city that you envision", you can freely lay out rails and create your own town. There is also an existing rail area where you can play immediately, so even beginners can enjoy it with confidence.

2． Sound Room (Hotel 3F)

It is a room where you can play music while feeling the warmth of wood. If you play with sound toys such as piano or iron harp, it's already a music concert in the forest. Please enjoy the sound of the sound that heals your heart.

3． Football Soccer Room (1st basement floor of the hotel)

Walk on the foot pot mat while enduring pain, kick the ball ahead and aim for the goal. The goal is also covered with a foot pot mat, so you can enjoy comparing the endurance of both the attacking side and the defender side.

4． Table Tennis Room (Hotel B1F)

The popular table tennis table, which had been installed on the foyer on the first basement floor, has been relocated. Increased from 2 to 3, and more people can use it.

Toy box icarus (Icarus)
Among the activities newly introduced this time, "Train Room" and "Sound Room" were selected and set up by Toy Box icarus, a wooden toy specialty store in Kobuchizawa-cho, Hokuto City.

Opened a shop in Kobuchisawacho, surrounded by rich nature in April 1994. We sell and plan original products and develop online shops. We have more than 1,000 kinds of products such as high-quality wooden toys, board games, puzzles, woodwork, etc. in Europe,ADULTS, etc.

Since its opening, Morino 8 is a popular activity facility that has been followed by repeaters.

We offer activities that can be enjoyed according to the age of the child in an area of about 1,400 m2. There are boulderings inspired by Mount Mizugaki, a sacred place for rock climbing, a "plasma car" where you can feel as if you are driving on Yatsugatake Kogen, and a "Tetoro" where you turn the handle by hand. Looking over from the top of the "Ali's nest tower" installed in the middle, you can feel as if you are overlooking the Yatsugatake area.
