Mercure Tottori Daisen Resort & Spa (Location: Hoki Town, Saihoki County, Tottori Prefecture / General Manager: Masaya Oshiro) is located in Tottori Prefecture *, also known as "Hoshitori Prefecture", where you can see the Milky Way from most municipalities in the prefecture.

1.　Enjoy the Starry Sky Watching

Reclining chairs are installed in the backyard of the hotel, which is open as a star park. In addition, binoculars and constellation previews can be rented out, and those who experience starry sky for the first time and children can easily face the night sky and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

2.　Enjoy in a dome tent, planetarium

At the Dome Tent, a symbol of Star Park, constellations are projected on the ceiling and a device where you can enjoy the planetarium is prepared. On a sunny night, you can open the upper part of the tent half and enjoy the real stars at the same time. You can also get acquainted with constellations even on days when you can't actually see the stars due to rain or cloudy weather. It will be a relaxing time for ADULTS and a learning place for children to foster interest in space and stars.

A starry sky viewing party will be held to invite local star specialists to coincide with the "Mizugami Meteor shower" in May. Even children can learn about meteor showers and spring constellations with easy-to-understand explanations. There is also a time for full-scale astronomical observation using a telescope.
