Background of service provision

In recent years, as the travel style of "pet tourism" to travel with pets is expanding, Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa and Mercure Kyoto Miyazu Resort & Spa offer dog friendly rooms where you can stay with your dog.

There is a dog run on the hotel premises in Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa, where you can relax with your dog in a natural environment. Mercure Kyoto Miyazu Resort & Spa also established a dog-friendly room in June 2025. There are yacht harbors nearby and Amanohashidate, a tourist attraction, and it is recommended as a walking course where you can feel the comfortable sea breeze.

This time, in order to deliver a more comfortable accommodation experience at two hotels with a fulfilling environment for dogs, we have introduced carefully selected dog goods for a limited time with the cooperation of each company.

Introduction of goods for dogs

Special items are prepared in the room to create a high-quality stay space with your dog. For guests staying in pet friendly rooms, with the cooperation of a total of five companies, you can experience products for pets that have been highly evaluated both in Japan and overseas. Products you like during your stay can be purchased on the spot and delivered to your home.

After a walk near the hotel, use Lion Pet's "Pet Clean Foam Rinse In Shampoo" to remove dirt on your feet in a dedicated washing area attached to the dog run. After returning to the room, cool down and dry in a home-run pet dryer house, and nutrient supplemented with Earth pet "Pet Suet" as aftercare after the dry. You can also eat snacks as gifts from the hotel and sleep well in the large pet lounge (bed) for large dogs. During the brushing time after dinner at night, the plaque is removed by the "PETKISS toothpaste sheet" of Lion Pet, which is promoting the "PetKISS brushing habitation project for dog brushing" to make your mouth clean. In addition, we can rent out blowers and grooming kits for those who wish.

2.Hair dryer house, blower, grooming kit made from home run pet [Minami Boso]

You can use full-fledged pet care products for home run pets, which are also used in crop salons and animal hospitals nationwide. After a walk, after removing dirt on your feet, you can dry it in the dryer house installed in the guest room. You can feel free to try it.
