Background of plan planning

Tottori Prefecture is a recommended area for riders, with the ideal natural environment and road conditions for touring. From the magnificent coastline along the Sea of Japan to the Oyama and Hiruzen Kogen areas where mountains are connected, there are a variety of superb views, so you can run while enjoying the seasonal scenery. In addition, roads in the Sanin region have very few traffic lights nationwide, and Tottori Prefecture is the prefecture with the lowest number of traffic lights (* 1). It is also an attractive point for riders to be able to run in the wilderness without stress.

Hayabusa Station in Yazu-cho is known as the "Sacred Land of Rider" because it is the same name as Suzuki's large motorcycle "Hayabusa". The Hayabusa Station Festival, which is held on the first Sunday of August every year, attracts many riders from all over the country, and is a place where the local and touring culture intersect.

In this way, Tottori Prefecture has a very high potential as a touring destination, and our hotel has prepared accommodation plans with dedicated facilities and services so that more riders can visit this area and enjoy touring, and for riders to stay comfortably and with peace of mind. As a base for travel, we will propose a comfortable motorcycle trip that can enjoy the charm of the area.

Points of all-inclusive plan for riders

1 Equipped with dedicated facilities to support the comfortable stay of the rider

The hotel is fully equipped with dedicated equipment for riders. There is a private parking lot for motorcycles with a roof next to the entrance, so you can park your bicycle safely even in rainy weather. There is also a car wash space equipped with a water hose. You can also take care of your car after touring. In addition, a coin laundry (washing machine and dryer) is also installed in the hotel, so you can take care of your clothes even during your trip and support comfortable stays and long-distance travel.

2 Bento full of local colors, happy during touring

In this plan, the hotel's original "Omusubi Bento" is available. In addition to easy-to-eat rice balls, the contents are packed with local tastes such as "Orai (* 2)" and "Tofu Chikuwa (* 3)" which are popular mainly in the Yumigahama Peninsula in western Tottori Prefecture. It is also recommended for those who want to enjoy the local taste easily in the wilderness during touring, such as at the foot of Mt. Oyama and along the coast, and aim to avoid congestion in early morning departures and sightseeing spots.

*2 A local dish that has been handed down since ancient times, filled with raw United States vegetables in a large fried oil and carefully cooked with soup stock.
*3 Processed foods that are steamed by mixing cotton tofu and white fish surimi at a ratio of 7 to 3.

3 Relax at a hot spring that heals tiredness of traveling after check-out

In the hot spring open-air bath, you can enjoy the hot springs of Daisen Onsen. The quality of the spring has been adapted to muscle pain, so you can enjoy it comfortably even after long-distance travel by motorcycle. It is also equipped with a sauna and a water bath, making it ideal for refreshing during your stay. After the bath, you can take a break with a drink in one hand in the hot spring lounge wrapped in soft light. In addition, this plan includes benefits that allow you to use the hot spring public bath even after check-out (available after 15:00). You can sweat after touring and then leave for your next destination, so you can support a more comfortable journey.

4 Recommended touring route to enjoy superb views and fast running

・Near Hayabusa Station - around Tottori Sand Dunes (approx. 40 minutes, distance: approx. 20 km)

The route to Tottori Sand Dunes is characterized by low traffic signals and smooth running. Along the way, you can enjoy a superb view of the blue sea of the Sea of Japan on a clear day while running through a continuous winding road with winding curves. In the rakyo field right next to Tottori Sand Dunes, the entire sand spreads from spring to summer, and in late October, pale purple flowers bloom, and you can meet the scenery like a lavender field. Outside of late October, we recommend a route that runs along the coastline along the Sea of Japan. You can enjoy an open touring with magnificent sand dunes and sea views.

・Near Hayabusa Station - Igumi (Dame Dam Amedaki) (take time: approx. 90 minutes, distance: approx. 40 km)

The route of about 40 km, which runs from Hayabusa Station in Yazu-cho, Tottori Prefecture to the Igumi area on the border of Hyogo Prefecture, is also a fast running route where you can enjoy smooth running with few traffic lights. You can enjoy two windings at once: a mountain pass road with continuous curves in the mountains and an old road along the sea overlooking the Sea of Japan. Along the way, there are stop-by spots such as the `` Tono Dam '', which has a rare structure that allows you to run on the dam, and `` Amedaki '', which boasts a drop of about 40 meters, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls, and the beauty of nature can be felt up close. In particular, Amedaki has access to the waterfall in just 5 minutes from the parking lot, and it is also attractive that you can walk easily with rider boots.
