Located in the center of Sapporo, the city hotel "Grand Mercure Sapporo Odori Park" (Location: 11-1-1, Kita 1-chome Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido / General Manager: Daniel Rei) will start a collaborative project with Sapporo's popular soup curry restaurant "GARAKU" from June 10, 2025. Arranged the popular curry of the store, which has a constant line, and you can easily enjoy it as one of the menus of the breakfast buffet.

Background of Collaboration
"GARAKU" is a popular curry restaurant where hotel staff also attend. Seeing the tourists lined up in a long line while pulling the carry case, I thought that it would be possible to create an environment where you could easily enjoy it at the hotel. I was offered a collaboration three to four years ago.
The chef of our hotel repeated prototypes and tastings with the guidance of Mr. Chiba, Representative Director of GARAKU RETAIL Co., Ltd. and Mr. Yamaguchi, Sales Manager, and this menu was finally finished.

At the "GARAKU" main store, boned chicken legs and colorful vegetables are trademarks, but at the hotel, they are arranged in an easy-to-eat manner to match the breakfast buffet.
While keeping the specialty soup as it is, we will provide ingredients selected for each season based on Hokkaido potatoes "Inca Mezame", chicken thighs, fried broccoli and lotus root.

GARAKU Soup

The mouthfeel “GARAKU” soup is carefully made using dozens of ingredients, such as onions, herbs, and tomatoes, fried until it turns brown, based on three parts of pork bones and chickens, and plenty of flavored vegetables. Has been done.
Furthermore, by adding Japanese-style soup, it is finished into a rich umami soup.

It features a mellow and rich soup based on "Japanese-style soup", "plentiful flavored vegetables" and "21 kinds of spices".
The main menu includes "Soft Chicken Legs and Vegetables" and "Torotoro broiled Kakuni", and uses vegetables and rice from Hokkaido (Nanatsuboshi + Five-grained Rice Blend).
